The Glass House is a long family story that started over four generations ago and in a different part of the country.  First let me introduce myself I am Bob Whitlow Sr.  I am the president and owner of The Glass House.  My father and I started the business after we had both moved down from Michigan.  He ran a successfull Glass shop outside of Detriot for 25 years.  Keeping in with our family glass tradition he learned all of his expertice from his father in law.  He had high asperations of becoming an airline pilot after world war 2.  But joyfully he lacked to back bone to tell his father in law that he would rather fly than work with glass.  My parents frequented the Tampa Bay area and fell in love with west central florida.  He returned to  Michgan and immediatly sold his glass shop in Detriot and we opened the Glass House in Largo.  since then we have grown immensly and 3 years ago moved our operation to Clearwater.  Where most of the day to day operations are run by my two sons.  We hope you enjoy your expereince with us.
